Kim's experience in event planning started when she was 20 years old and "accidently" landed a job with a large production company in the Chicago area where she was the assistant to the President of the company. Being a college student with a quest to become a special education teacher, she stayed with the company only for the summer. She never forgot the experience. Along the way, she stayed involved with event consulting and planning. After organizing a major fashion show in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, she considered doing this as a full-time profession. With the encouragement and support of her friends and son, Anthony, Kim started Spitfire Events. And anyone who knows Kim will tell you that the name fits because she takes ultimate pride in each event she produces.
